I absolutely loved how close I was to the city center. I had an amazing apartment and I couldn't have asked for anything better! |
* Food: |
My room mate was a vegetarian and she looked up words before hand, that helped a lot. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The Duomo was amazing, along with all of the other famous sites in Italy. I saw almost everything there is to see there and I can't even begin to describe them. I didn't go on any trips arranged by the school program. |

I never felt unsafe in Florence once. I didn't even feel like I needed to keep my purse in front of me all the time. I never saw one pick-pocket. Very comfortable and safe place. |
