Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Everything listed above exceeded my expectations greatly, and I loved my host university.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I absolutely loved how close I was to the city center. I had an amazing apartment and I couldn't have asked for anything better!

* Food:

My room mate was a vegetarian and she looked up words before hand, that helped a lot.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The Duomo was amazing, along with all of the other famous sites in Italy. I saw almost everything there is to see there and I can't even begin to describe them. I didn't go on any trips arranged by the school program.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never felt unsafe in Florence once. I didn't even feel like I needed to keep my purse in front of me all the time. I never saw one pick-pocket. Very comfortable and safe place.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? A ton. Probably around $400 per week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? train tickets, eating out every night, bars, water
