What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile! I learned that I could live abroad, but I would need some sort of support network. Going on a program where I didn't know anyone was hard, but worth it!

A Look Back

  • Workings of specific school requirements and allowances/limits
  • Extended counseling for coursework
  • Really stress support for classes on their end, that was really the only thing I struggled with and was eventually blindsided by.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew the workings of their academic system/structure, it is very very different than what we are used to and was again honestly the biggest "culture shock" I experienced.
