My host family was very kind to me. I got sick, and my host mom María made me very mild food. She really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. |

A few of us got sick. Our host provider as well as our MTSU staff were very helpful in getting us medicine. |

My host family spoke very little English, they were learning English, so it was good practice for both of us to learn a new language. |
