Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I took the electives, and there was a heavy workload. I do not suggest taking more than one class at once at this university. The electives are very interesting just intense! |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Sometimes it was hard to reach the supervisors. They were friendly and fun though during the activities. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
More meat would be nice in the host family setting. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Activities were a lot of fun. I wish I could live in Puerto Escondido! |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Overall I felt safe. However, women shouldn't travel alone at night ever! |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Language
* Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
Language acquisition improvement? |
In my classes spanish was used. In my host home only spanish was used, and out in town spanish was used as well. |
