Review Your Program
|
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I really liked the Academic rigor involved with this program. It wasn't too hard, so I was able to travel while striking a very good work/life balance. In one of the classes, Kazakh music history, I was able to work on projects with Kazakh students, which allowed me not only to integrate with the student body, but to also practice my russian skills. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration

The administration was good. I appreciate the trips that the leader organized. |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I really loved living with a Kazakh roommate; she was so sweet, and we clicked wonderfully. I was also able to practice my Russian with her, which provided to the immersive experience. |
| * Food: |
The food was good in the dining Hall--but I highly reccomend going out to eat anywhere in Astana, the food is cheap and delicious. |

The local culture is very welcoming. |

| * Safety: |
It was incredibly safe and the taxis were cheap and plentiful. I never had a moment where I felt unsafe. |

Yes
I loved the immersive experience and the culture. I would choose Kazakhstan again in a heartbeat. |
