A different kind of college experience Past Review
By A student (Middlebury College) - abroad from 10/04/2017 to 07/23/2018 with
Middlebury Schools Abroad: Middlebury in Berlin
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Academics wise most classes I took were of genuine interest to me, especially the two related to gender. I also gained exposure to knowledge about Europe from a European perspective. My favorite part of the program has to be my internship, where I got to practice my German in a more "real-life" setting and put my different language skills, coincidentally, to use. The internship, as well as how I was sad when it ended, convinced me that I could see myself coming back to live and work in Berlin.
