Yes! I learned so much Chinese, made great friends, and I am ready to go back this summer.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Double room with a Chinese roommate. Private bathroom. <br /><br /> Included everything I could have needed.

* Food:

I learned to love Chinese food and try new unusual delicacies.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Made lots of friends, traveled all around China.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I always felt safe, the locals were interested and courteous toward me.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Very little. Food was very inexpensive, and I could live on about 5 dollars per day comfortably.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Extra costs might include joining a gym.

Language acquisition improvement?

After following the language pledge through out the duration of the program, my language skills improved immensely.
