What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a lot of independence and experience adapting to a new environment, as well as a much higher level of proficiency in Spanish. It was definitely worthwhile.

Expectations were not very clear and I felt very much on my own with the spanish university at times.

my host family was very welcoming but I didn’t really have my own space and the dynamic was at times strange.
