What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My French certainly improved. I think that was worth it. I made some great friends. My architecture skills improved. I got to live in a large city. I felt like I was really taking in life.

I really liked GeoBlue for health care. I found it efficient and I used it often as I encountered quite a few health issues while abroad.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I appreciate Middlebury’s dedication to language and culture. I think I’ll look back on this experience fondly. Had the program been in English or not a part of a local university, I might’ve had more free time but I don’t think my French would have improved.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how rigorous the architecture program was going to be. I wish there was more communication about teaching methods and how university worked
