I learned about personal time-management and how to occupy free time alone. I gained travel experience and learned multitudes about different cultures in Europe.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Stay local as much as possible! There's plenty to do within these big European cities and when you travel you end up spending tons of money.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That most of the people you meet at a large school with lots of international students are english speaking international students; especially as an english speaking international student.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
