Il Faut Profiter à Yaoundé Past Review
By A student (Middlebury College) - abroad from 02/06/2017 to 06/05/2017 with
Middlebury Schools Abroad: Middlebury in Yaoundé
It was incredibly worthwhile. I was able to connect with people I never would have met otherwise, who come from very different backgrounds. I was put in uncomfortable situations where I needed to be flexible and act with common sense.

History of Cameroon |
Course Department: | Middlebury Center |
Instructor: | Erick Fofack |
Instruction Language: | French |
Comments: | Our professor was very knowledgeable about the history of Cameroon, and I felt I learned a lot about the history of Cameroon and sub-Saharan Africa. I felt I was able to apply this knowledge in understanding the political and cultural context in which I found myself. His lectures were organized, assignments were clear. We took several tests and wrote small essays. We were well prepared for the assessments. |

Cameroonian Literature and Film |

Instructor: | Ariane Ngabeu |

Comments: | The professor was knowledgeable, but the course was incredibly unstructured. We were able to participate a great deal, since there were only 6 of us in the course. Overall, the readings were valuable and I learned a lot about African film and literature. |
