What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Better understanding of the Spanish language, new friends from Millsaps and COSI, and a better appreciation of Costa Rican culture. I was not ready to leave when the program ended.

While I learned a lot during my time abroad, the consistency of the learning was not there because of several teaching changes in my 5 week period

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Because there were several different students in my house, I do not think I received some of the individual language attention other students had at houses with one student, and the hot water was an issue.

Occasionally, I questioned the nutritional value of the meal, but my mama tica had the best rice and beans around
