I was able to integrate into the culture, to understand what it is like to be immersed in the culture, and to be able to visit some family.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Being able to visit family
  • feeling immersed in the culture
  • making friends with locals
* What could be improved?
  • I would like to have a couple of extra days in Germany.
  • I think it would have helped to have survival German before going to the country. I felt disrespectful because I didn't know much of the language.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I think I would have liked to know more about some of the areas of London. Looking back, there are some places in the city that I would have like to go like Camden Square. But, for the amount of time we had, I think we did a lot and had a lot of freedom to do as we wanted outside of the class schedule.
