What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Very worthwhile for me with a scholarship to go. I would have trouble justifying the full cost for a class but the credit plus a vacation was really nice

Academically you're pushed to ask uncomfortable questions due to language and culture gaps that help each student understand international business. The coursework is by no means as rigorous as any formal class though

Great program, wish more people could have gone. Made me want to retire in Mexico

The peso took a nose bomb compared to the dollar. I wish I could still be drinking 1.50 margaritas right now.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Use a major credit/ debit card. That's how you get the best exchange rate by far

The program didn't stress using Spanish but the immersive nature was evident at the end of the trip

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Don't freak out. A lot of people know English and a lot of people are very understanding if you mangle words/ sentences
