What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot while studying abroad. I enhanced my knowledge of Mexico and the Spanish language.I met a lot of people that I would have never met without going on this program. I would definitely go back and do it again if I had the chance.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | If you choose to stay with a host family, your expenses will be greatly reduced. Mexico is not an expensive country. I personally spent most of my money on souvenirs. |

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | You just have to talk in the language you are practicing as much as you can. It does not matter how silly you may think you sound. You also have to try to read, write, and listen to the language you are practicing as much as you can. You just have to be exposed to the language you are practicing as much as possible. |
