Safely in Singapore Past Review
By Jacqueline S (Urban and Regional Planning, University of Maine - Orono) - abroad from 06/29/2015 to 07/24/2015 with

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This was my first international experience so I would say that it was extremely worthwhile. Being in a culture so different from the United States was eye-opening. I definitely feel as though I can hold an honest respect for other cultures now, even though I may not agree with all the customs I think it is still important to learn as much as you can about other cultures and this program allowed me to do just that.
