Tucuman: An unispiring university but great people and a great time Past Review
By Michael I (PECN, Tulane University) for
National University of Tucumán: Tucumán - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
If I had different expectations it would have been better but as a whole I am glad I went. It is a beautiful area. I learned a lot about poverty which was and still is an area of economic research I want to explore.

|
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | There are many opportunities to do fun and relatively inexpensive trips. That being said, if you do too many of them, it will add up. HAVE A TRAVEL BUDGET IN MIND BEFORE GOING! I did two big trips (to Chile and Iguazu Falls) and a small trip for a little under 1k just to sort of show how far your money will go. |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | If you are not expecting to learn in the University, but want to got to Argentina, Tucuman is a great choice. I am very very happy to have chosen it over Buenos Aires. Tucuman offers small town friendliness but with lots of things to do. |
