What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Going to South Africa was one of the best experiences of my life, I learned alot and met a lot of great people. It was definitely worth while I got all i expected plus some from this experience. I dont really think any amount of words can do it justice. It was just amazing!

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Food and personal items are relatively cheap there. I would I spent about $20 a week, but that does not include going out to dinner. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Just plan ahead, make sure you keep track of the money you are spending so you dont run out, and if you do make sure to have a back up plan. |
