New York Film Academy (NYFA) Gold Coast is located at Southport. Southport is the leading Educational and Creative Arts precinct of the Gold Coast. Due to its proximity to the light rail transport and other student service amenities (libraries, shopping centers, immigration services, cafes and restaurants), this is an ideal and convenient space for our students.

The Gold Coast facility is located directly across from the Gold Coast Broadwater with a popular waterfront promenade, large estuary and attractive parklands. Perfect for filming. Students also have the opportunity to do production work in the backlot of the renowned Village Roadshow Studios. Situated adjacent to the Warner Bros. Movie World Theme Park, the Studios offer truly world-class film production facilities. Students will also be able to participate in Hot Sets at Warner Bros. Movie World. A vibrant and inspiring location, NYFA Gold Coast students are provided unique hands-on programs that are enhanced by the film industry environment surrounding the School.

Village Roadshow Studios have been the location for many Hollywood films including San Andreas, Unbroken, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, The Shallows, Kong: Skull Island, and Thor: Ragnarok, among many others. All NYFA Australia students study on the backlot, experiencing a working international film studio.

NYFA Gold Coast offers hands on semester and year programs in Filmmaking, Acting for Film, Screenwriting, Documentary Filmmaking, Producing, and 3D Animation. NYFA Gold Coast also offers short term 1-Week, 4-Week, and 8-Week programs in Filmmaking and Acting for Film.
