Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

LOVED the classes. Very interesting and related to Irish culture. Learned a lot about Ireland and met amazing people on the program. The professors were fun and excited to teach.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Trinity was the perfect location to study abroad. It is right in the center of Dublin, it couldn't have been a better set up.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We all had singles. Enough said.

* Food:

Irish food is amazing! You would expect it to be boring - potatoes and lamb - but there were many choices, all healthy!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Irish people love americans, so friendly, they loved to chat and talk about America. Places we visited taught me a lot about the country, we got to see cities and the country side.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Trinity is locked up all night. Dorms were safe and Dublin is small and kind.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Euro is quite expensive but if you can afford the program you can afford ireland.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent about 2500 in 6 weeks
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cook your own food! But buy it daily because they don't use preservatives.
