New York University: Dublin - NYU Summer in Dublin

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My experience was a bit different from most of the students, as I went to Dublin as an assistant director of the program. It was my first time in Ireland, and I worked on my Masters thesis while the students took classes. However, I did all the same cultural outings and weekend trips as all the students. The trip was 100% worthwhile. I was submerged in the culture that my Masters work was all about, and seeing firsthand many of the historical sites and locations I had learned about in class (along with many I hadn't) was a great experience. We had an engaged, intelligent, and really fun group of students in our program that summer, and being able to share the summer with them was amazing.
