Students can expect to read, write, and discuss, but also to move through Havana—walking the streets, visiting music venues, listening to new sounds, learning the rudiments of Cuban dance, studying the dynamics of festivity, and exploring the city first-hand while making discoveries about Cuba’s splendid musical culture.
