Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Even though I paid for their most expensive dorm option I was placed in the most cluttered suite despite better options existing. Seems like Midd kids just get shoved around which I wouldn't mind if I wasn't paying 3x for a single but in the only triple. |
* Food: |

* Social & Cultural Integration:

* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
At the end of the day, no program comes close elsewhere let alone at Midd to give a student the professional level of experience and instruction in directing and as a DP– to work with 35 mm on your own student project is truly a must take opportunity. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 3 meals a day... 200$ basic. Lunch had to be eaten out every day + expenses such as tram which weren't provided for the whole time |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | unfortunately you just have to save up before heading over and consider cooking for yourself. that being said, groceries a relatively expensive. |
Language
* Did your program have a foreign language component? | No |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |

Credit Transfer Issues: | So I will say this about all the forms we have to fill out– we have to do it twice! reviews, forms, and most importantly safety courses! Its the same program for midd abroad and NYU so even just a little coordination would go a long way. |
