The neigborhood was away from the big city where I went to school but also a very safe environment. |

All you can eat&drink restaurants were the most memorable in Japanese dining. |

The university arranged a field trip to Hakone. It was a great cultural and wonderful experience. |

Japan is a very safe place to live and all around a good place to live in. There are some places like Shinjuku and Roppongi that do get a little roudy on some nights. |
