I registered with a doctor because it was required. I did not visit again because I did not get sick. I did want to go to a dentist because my gums were swollen, however, my insurance was not accepted. So I took antibiotics and ibuprofen that I packed myself. There was also one time that I went to a hospital for my gums, however, they did not have a walk in dentistry department. |
* Safety: |
The housing complex was secured 24/7. Students needed an ID to access any entrance doors. There were also security officers roaming the premise continually. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Warn your bank ahead of time that you will be leaving the country so that way they will be able to compromise with your expenses abroad. In my case my bank froze my account for two weeks abroad because they believed my account was hacked. I called them and resolved the issue and in that time period I used my mother's joint bank acocunt. |

Reasons For Studying Abroad

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
