What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a great appreciation for the day to day life of Denver. I loved getting to know people that I normally wouldn't have met when visiting Denver. Everything from the people to the experiences was a memory that I will always have. I feel like my perception of Denver will always be different than that of someone who is just visiting. I love Denver but for a different reason than most.

* What did you like most about the program?
  • I loved being right downtown
  • I liked student teaching in a place that challenged me
* What could be improved?
  • A little more space for living instead of having everyone on top of each other.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how many different opportunities I would have and realize that I can make a lot of connections.
