Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Loved the teachers! work load IS more than we expected but still not much. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
I really really loved the teachers. They were so friendly and helpful and I learned a lot in their classes |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
You definitely needed to buy tiolet paper, paper towels, etc which is something we were never told about before leaving |
* Food: |
I loved the food but it is very expensive so plan wisely! |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I really loved the Arc de Triumphe and also the Eiffel Tower. I found that my favorite places were not all with the groups alltogther. It would be fun to have gone with our whole group to one of the popular spots in Paris |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
The apartments were very safe, they had locks into the area, then into the apartment building, etc. There were no prevalent health issues that I was aware of, and no vaccines I would reccommend before going to Paris |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I spent around 200 euro for one week |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I definitely think that you need more than 1000 american dollars. I used about $1500 u.s. dollars, which ended up being 1000 euro. |
