Spend two weeks in Uganda this January learning how to teach, create, and perform dance, and to build community through the lens of another culture. Participants in this NYU - Steinhardt global program collaborate with professional dancers, educators, and students. They also take classes in traditional Ugandan dance, East African drumming, and teaching methodology, and then implement lesson plans with children from local orphanages and other community-based organizations.
