What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I feel like I learned to be more independent and make my own decisions. I also learned a lot of what it would be like to be an ecologist.

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |

Comments: | We were challenged by carrying out large research projects in the field in South African savanna and fynbos ecosystems. The teacher was well prepared for both lectures and field work. Participation was at a different time interval that was more fluid that at my home university. Were were mostly assessed by research papers and an exam. in addition we had a final project. |
