Oxbridge Academic Programs: Oxford - The Oxford Tradition

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I have had no greater pain than the one I felt once I had to leave. The friendships I made were 10x better and more meaningful than I could have ever expected and I intend to continue them for the rest of my life. Not only that, I had the most amazing relationship with my teacher and am, thankfully, still in touch with him. I benefited enormously from my class and will never forget how much I learned. The city of Oxford is also the quintessential college town and I grew to care and love the community so much that it felt like home to me. Lastly, more than any of this, I learned a ton about myself and truly felt 100% myself when I was there. When you are thrust into such an unique group of people from all over the world who are genuine and enthusiastic, it's hard not to. Now that I'm gone I feel like a part of me will always be left behind there. To summarize, it was truly the best experience of my life.

Comments: Definitely the best class I've ever taken. Not only did I learn a ton but I also became very close with my class and teacher thanks to the small intimate size of the class room and the time devoted to the course. It was really fun to be surrounded by a group of people with the same passion and all of whom where so good at it! I think I participated more than I do at school because I was so determined to make the most of the course and it was a great relaxed and fun setting. You are graded based on the quality of your assignments, final portfolio and journal
