By A student (ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE/LETTERS., Presbyterian College) - abroad from 01/09/2012 to 05/18/2012 with
Pablo de Olavide University: Seville - Multidisciplinary Studies Program

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
My host mother was a heavy smoker and never went outside or opened windows while smoking. It was a very small apartment, and I had three other international roommates. The four of us shared a bathroom. Also, our host mother rarely cooked. We had unhealthy, microwaveable, frozen food meals nearly every day. We also weren't allowed to use the living room at any time aside from eating, so the majority of my time spent at home was in my room. |
* Food: |
My host mother often made a conscious effort to cook us traditional Spanish food at lunchtime. However, we had frozen food for dinner almost every day. It was clear that she wanted to spend as little time and money as possible. |
