Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Education level at university was high. Staff members and professors were very helpful.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Staff members were very helpful and they did a good job in making me as confortable as possible. University has a gym, a library, sports facilities, three cafeterias, and several computer labs.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in a apartment with 5 other students. Everything was within a short walking distance. To get to the university I had to take two buses and it would usally take me 45 minutes.

* Food:

Food was very good. Its a bit different from the food here in New Mexico, because in Spain they don't eat a lot of spicy food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Program takes students on several field trips, 1 night out in the cinema, a boat ride in the river, and a trip to an amusement park.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt very safe during the program. I never got sick and if a student had a problem, staff members were very helpful.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Food is a bit more expensive because of the exchange rates between the U.S. dollar and the euro.

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

My spanish level increased greatly.
