What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I want to change to a double major and do French and History now. I would like to became an international business major instead of just a business lawyer so I can travel more, hopefully back to France. And I want to go back for a longer study abroad.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program size was great and all the activities were wonderful. Maybe a little too crunched for time, but everything went well. All my expectations were met.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

I loved all the food, students just need to browse around the city and look at prices.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I got to meet other students and actually became friends with two students (one is from Paris) and I keep in touch with both! I loved the Louvre and Versailles.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Students really need to watch out for traffic in Paris. Drivers really don't care if you have a walk signal.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
Language acquisition improvement?

I had to use French every day even though most people spoke English. I improved my French speaking skills a lot.

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
