Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Although our group was spoken to about the educational systerm in Germany, we did not experience it first hand. I am grateful for that because I do not feel I could have achieved what I have under their country's system. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Both of our host Leaders were informative, efficent, and welcoming. Our group really enjoyed their company. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Since our group was only in Germany for nine days, we stayed in hotels. All three hotels were very nice. I have no complaints about housing arangments. |
* Food: |
All group meal experiences were excellent. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The entire trip was memorable, however I most enjoyed the Auto Technik Museum and our final dinner together as a group. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
No health issues I know of needed addressed. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I spent roughly $800 total in the 9 days. Approximately $200 was spent on food and the remainder on gifts and personal expenses by my own choice, I could have easily spent less if I'd needed to. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | We were well informed about how much money would approximately be need. I do no feel there were any unanticipate expenses. |
Language
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
