Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I have really come to appreciate the interactive and dynamic teaching methods of my home college of Wellesley. In the University of Cordoba, I experienced mostly frontal education where the classes were mostly lecture-style with very minimal student participation. However, my classes within my study abroad program were overall great. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Its strengths are definitely those amazing women who work in the PRESHCO office in Cordoba. They assisted me in every way possible, and without their help my experience would not have been nearly as enjoyable. The weakness of the program is the amount of English that is spoken among the students. We were an enormously large group, therefore it was extremely hard to maintain the "spanish only" commitment. |

|
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | The social life in Spain is centered around going out. You don't "hang out" at other people's houses. You go out for coffee, etc. and these expenses tend to add up. This is something to keep in mind. |
