Cultural Immersion in Cordoba, Spain. Past Review
By Zara I (Biological Science and Spanish, Wellesley College) for
PRESHCO: Study Abroad in Córdoba, Spain
I learned the most from Spanish friends. The PRESCHO group hung out too much with themselves and not really branching out. The PRESCHO office in Cordoba was amazing--Eva, Encari, Maribel, Martha. I would like to go back to Cordoba sometime. I'm so glad there was the orientation trip, but I wished that was later in the program because it was awkward at the beginning when we didn't know anyone.
Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Grading system was unorganized-- I did not know how I was doing throughout the semester. Teaching methods: I just felt talked at. Nothing interesting to discuss...should give more readings to discuss in class rather than in us talking about topics in generalities. Workload was low which I liked. |
