Getting to Know Myself June 17, 2024

By (History and Politics, Brandeis University) - abroad from 01/10/2024 to 06/01/2024 with

Queen Mary University of London Study Abroad programme

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My experience abroad was definitely worthwhile, but it also was not without its challenges. I found it difficult to meet people, especially to meet and stay in touch with local students. That being said, I improved my skills in doing things by myself and was able to explore the city and get to know London on my own. I was really proud of myself and the decisions I made for myself abroad, and came back with a significantly more developed sense of self.
