Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Class is much larger and students are more free to choose whether he or she will attend a class. Many classes have only 2 exams per year: one midterm and one final at the end of the academic year, in stead of the end of each semester.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The host provide adequate information.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Many dining places are available in the vicinity. Expect Halal-type fastfood only, if you are on a budget.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

This city is very indifference towards foreign students. You have to look after yourself.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? On a weekly basis, 10 GBP on traveling, 40-80 on food. Cost on Books = 0, as the library has all the book you need, and buying books is not required as the lecture notes is really in-depth
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Get the 5 GBP 02 text-only plan. This is ironic but cellphone cost is really low there

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
