Personal Information
| How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? | 0-2 weeks |
Review Your Program
| * Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. | More reading, less busy work. Mostly class discussion with little lecture. An A is above and beyond/excellent, a B is very good, and a C is good. |
| * Host Country Program Administration On-site administration of your program | Great support. |
| * Housing: How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? | I had my own dorm. The flat was seven dorms that shared a nice, roomy kitchen. |
| * Food: | Learn how to make your own food. |
| * Social & Cultural Integration: How integrated did you feel with the local culture? | Trip to Wales, Stratford upon Avon, and other places in England. |
| * Health Care: How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
 |
| * Safety: | There were a couple bomb threats in London while I was there, but I never felt unsafe. They would just close down a portion of the Underground or bus system to keep people out of the danger zone. No one is allowed to be armed with a weapon in London (guns, knives), so I felt very safe. Obviously, don't walk around the shady parts of the East End late at night. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? | Yes
 |
Finances
| * Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget? (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
 |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 50 pounds ($80) |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Travel on the tube (with the oyster card) is average 4 pounds/ 1 pound 60 p for the bus. |
Language
| How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
Direct Enrollment/Exchange
| * Did you study abroad through an exchange program or did you directly enroll in the foreign university? | Direct Enrollment |
