What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned more about myself by being put into situations in which I didn't have the crutches I was used to (like constant contact with old friends, familiar people, social expectations). It was an incredibly worthwhile experience.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Travel locally: it's cheaper, and you'd be surprised as to the amazing things you can find. You don't have to go far.
