Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

When choosing your classes take ones that interest you and ones that your home school does not offer. I took all electives pertaining to my major, and I had tons of work to do constantly, but I learned so much! Do not expect an easy ride too, some of the classes can be quite difficult! Attendence was part of your grade...if you were late 5 min it counted as an absence. Work wise expect a lot of reading, a few papers, and at least one oral presentation for each class.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The weaknesses of this program would be meeting with an advisor...you only have to do it once at the beginning of the semester, but if you have an unexperienced advisor it can be difficult to make changes to your schedule!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved the schools housing. It was located right in Regents park and was perfectly located to all major attractions! The dorms and all the school buildings are connected, so you do not even have to step outside.

* Food:

They had okay food. I was very pleased that they had vegetarian meals as well, but it still was a bit limited.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I LOVE London I was there for four months and I have still yet to see the whole city. The school also arranges trips in england, and to France, Wales, Holland, and Scotland.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt London was extremely safe. I have always lived in a city, so I am always aware of my surroundings. Just do not put your self in stupid situations. your more likely to get hit by a car than mugged.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Direct Enrollment/Exchange

* Did you study abroad through an exchange program or did you directly enroll in the foreign university? Direct Enrollment
