Regent’s University London: Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Not to be afraid to branch out and try/explore new things, whether it is with your friends or independently. I enjoyed exploring London on my own as much as I did with a group of people. I became much more open to different experiences and grew much more as an individual and supporting myself while studying abroad.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make a budget and limit yourself to a certain amount of money spent on food per week. That is what I spent most of my money on, besides entertainment, because I wanted to explore the different restaurants and experience the culture of London rather than eating in the cafeteria all the time.
