What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned too many things to write down here, but I became more independent and I learned to hold my own in different situations. It was absolutely worth every second.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? The food at Regent's is terrible, so save up and buy lots of snacks and go out to eat there when possible because Baker Street is closeby.

  • The friends I made
  • My Contemporary London Theatre class with Andy Greenhalgh
  • Being so close to Baker Street
* What could be improved?
  • Food
  • Laundry Room facilities
  • Mixing Americans with International students
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That the food was bad and that we were not going to be immersed in life with locals. I wish they hadn't separated the Americans to one area of the school. It would have been better for everyone to meet and mix and get along.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
