Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Regent's University is not so famous as UCL or others, but teachers are soooooo kind and the resources including learning materials and other life assistances are quite good.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Regent's is such a lovely uni and staffs there are always kind to help students.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My friends and i rent the house on ourselves. Living in London is fabulous, regardless of the high rentals.

* Food:

u know, when you compare Chinese food and English food…… fortunately, we have Chinese restaurants all over London.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

London is a big family full of all kinds of culture. When people are in London, they could do everything following their heart. But, in some certain, the culture shock is the barrier to make close friends with people who are from different countries.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Since we got a Tier 4 Student Visa, NHS are free to us and it's very convenient.

* Safety:

Overall, London is quite a safe place and I live in Hampstead which is an awesome place with safety and security.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

WOW, people all know that London is one of the most expensive city!

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? £250
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It's easy to get a part-time job in London, and the salary is satisfying.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
