A Semester in London: The European Adventure Past Review
By Jerel Gatchalian (University of Hartford) - abroad from 01/20/2016 to 04/29/2016 with
Regent’s University London: Direct Enrollment & Exchange
I learned that the world has many things to offer and see. I also learned that if you try to learn about another culture you can realize that other people are living out in the world in a different way than the U.S way, and that they are not disadvantaged by it. London is a large city especially compared to anything in Connecticut, so I was able to experience having almost anything I wanted a bus ride/tube ride away. The amount of freedom was very refreshing, and it was great to know that there was a new thing to see every week, if you seeked it.

Several of my friends from University of Hartford were in programs that had apartment housing instead of a dorm. Being in a dorm gives you easy access to food on campus, your classes, and fellow college-goers. In a apartment it is easy to become isolated from the rest of your program if you don't make a good effort to make friends. |
Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
