It was definitely an experience that i would want to do again. It helps you gain freedom and independence. The people were great. it teaches you to keep an open mind about things. Enjoy yourself. Keep track of your money because it definitely goes by fast. but over all have a great time with lots of friends and laughs.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The school was great, the teachers were knowledgeable and took the job of teaching seriously. My only complaint is the art facilities. They were very small for some of the work that needed to be accomplished, and I think that they should have some place to store students work so that it doesnt get vandalized or stolen during the night. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Beaumont Court was a great place to live, but maintenance was a huge issue. any time something needed to be fixed it was always such a hassle to get someone up to help. |
* Food: |
The food around the area was great, lots of culture. There are also grocery stores located just a couple blocks away. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The night life was amazing, everyone got along!! i have absolutely no complaints |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Someone did come down with the swine flu and didn't really get quarantined but it was eventually taken care of. There was a case of bed bugs also, where they then relocated the girl, but everything eventually got taken care of. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Direct Enrollment/Exchange
* Did you study abroad through an exchange program or did you directly enroll in the foreign university? | Direct Enrollment |
A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Don't be scared about living in an environment that you have never lived in before, always be open to try new things and to get introduced to new cultural activities. It can be a great experience if you keep your head up and are open to everything. but always remember to be safe because no one is invincible |

Comments: | Color theory was a great course. At first I was a little iffy about my abilities in the class, but once I got the hang of things it was smooth sailing. The end project was very tough but the end result is very rewarding and that class really teaches you to know your stuff about color |
