What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

I learned so much about myself! I had a wonderful time and would do it all over again in a heart beat. Because of my experience, I am looking to go teach abroad will I graduate in the spring.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget? (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week?	I spent about 100 pounds a week- this money went to going out, food on the weekends, and weekend travels. I was there for about 4 months and spent 4, 000 dollars extra. This included 8 different trips to all over Europe, one being to Greece for 10 days.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants?	make sure to read the fine print about your meal plans. I was unaware I did not get meals on the weekend.
