ROOSTERGNN Global News Network is a non-profit news agency that promotes freedom of expression and journalism education. With over 700 journalists worldwide, ROOSTERGNN specializes in investigative, independent and digital journalism. The Intensive Travel Journalism, Photography & Video Internship Seminars with Cultural Immersion Program in Cuba take place in two of the country’s most emblematic cities, both of them declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the capital, Havana, and the colonial city of Trinidad. All of the Experts and Mentors are bilingual. To participate , it is required that students have knowledge of at least ONE of these languages. Students can choose to write their articles in English, Spanish or both. The selection process is rigorous and includes an interview for all candidates of interest. Upon completion of the program, students graduate with a Portfolio of Published Work, which is subsequently published in the news agency.
