What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to make the most out of my time. I knew it would be a once in a lifetime experience and wanted to make it worth and I did. It was amazing and I wouldn't change it for the world.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I was set up in a safe, clean, and cute apartment just outside the city center. It was close to school, groceries and lots of cafes and shopping.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I chipped my tooth while abroad and was so worried. But SAI was able to recommend an English speaking dentist to me and he was great. It all worked out really well.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

They made my experience so seamless and valuable. I really felt supported and seen!

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Plan ahead and know how much you have and how long it needs to last you. If you spend more in one month, you have to remember to subtract it out of the the next months budget to make sure you will still have enough at the end.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I am okay with what I knew before and how much I had to learn by experiencing it. I think it is okay to be surprised and learn how to work through obstacles of other cultures
