How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Our apartment was in a Parisian neighborhood. I felt immersed and visited a local boulangerie each day. Got to interact with some of my neighbors.

Amazing boulangeries, patisseries, etc.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Got to use my French with locals!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

SAI provided me the tools and tips to fully immerse myself in the Parisian culture. I learned very quickly how to use the RATP (public transport), visited beautiful sites, met some amazing friends, and developed my artistic skills in class.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Spent about 150 euros each week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Start a basic savings account before you depart. Also consider buying a few essentials for your apartment when you don't want to go out for dinner. I.e. pasta, toast, etc.
